 A search engine continuously scanning internet and find the results that matches with the subjected criteria that user searches on their browser.

When a user wants searches on their browser, The search engine finds the desired keywords, website titles, tags step by step to produce a list of sites that user wants.

Types of search engines -:

General Search Engines -: 

It is the search engine which indexes and ranks web pages based on the content of the websites that cover wide ranges of topics.

Google, yahoo and Bing are some of the most popular general search engines.

Vertical Search Engine -:

It is the search engine in which only a specific or specialized types of content are found. Which include images, videos, news or product reviews. Google images ,YouTube and amazon are some of the popular types of vertical search engines.

 

Hybrid Search Engines -:

It is a search engine which uses more than one search algorithms to find a results. By which search engine use different techniques to find the best results for a user query.

Meta Search Engines -:

It is a type of search engine which finds results from the multiple search engines and present it to a user in single list. This search engine is mainly used to compare results from different general-purpose or vertical purpose or vertical search engines. Dogpile and Meta Crawler are some popular metasearch engines.

Web Search Engines -:

It is the most common type of search engine in which user search for website by a keyword or phrase. The results of a web search are typically a list of websites that match the user’s query.

For What All cases you will do optimization ?

Cases 1: Website not available.

Cases 2: Website available on second page.

Cases 3: Website available on first page but don’t rank on first.

Case 4: Website available on first page at first position.

• I will do optimization for all the above cases as it is because for every query i want to rank my website at top, therefore i have to do optimization.
• In case 4 i have to do optimization because in order to maintain my first position.
• It is a long term and continuous process.

A  Meta-title is located on the head section of the web page. It help our website to rank on top. If we write strong meta-titles then this will help to increase organic traffic on our website. It is because search engines analyzes topic of our pages and helps to rank it accordingly.

What is Meta-Description?

A meta-description provide the user short content on the webpage. By which user will identify about the content on full page. 

Google Mostly describe page’s meta description below its URL and meta-description.

What is Landing Page ?

A landing page is a standalone page of the website. This is mainly built to collect the users information like their name,contact,email address and job title.

The users lands on this page by click on the link from email or from digital ads like -facebook ads, google ads , Instagram ads etc.
